Technical Artist (Netherlands)

For our client Computer Games Company from Netherlands we are looking for a person on The Technical Art position

You know everything and more about 3D, 2D, compositing, particle systems, animation systems and everything else that is involved in the production of graphics and FX. You like to solve problems and your extensive knowledge allows you to find ways of doing things that were not thought possible.

Your experience in professional graphics production is needed when you search for a streamlined graphics production pipeline. You will be closely involved with the development our own graphic toolkit.

Technical solutions are realized by yourself using scripting or with the help of our software developers. You are able to communicate with both programmers and artists in their native tongue.

You work in close collaboration with the Art Director.

Requirements

Minimal of 3 years of experience in a similar position.

Excellent knowledge of a wide variety of graphical systems and applications.

Keen eye on latest developments in the computer graphics field.

Ability to be flexible and work within a time schedule.

Ability to work in a team.

Good communication skills.

An independent and pro-active work attitude.

Desirable skills

Previous employment in the games or movie industry .

A passion for games.

Experience with procedural content creation.

Good scripting and/or programming skills.

Strong artistic background in 3D and/or animation.

In depth knowledge of computer game technology.
