Probem z emiterem cząsteczek 3ds Max 2008

Korzystam z 3ds maxa 2008. Kiedyś robiłem już jedną próbną pracę z cząsteczkami (fajerwerki) jednak ostatnio chciałem nauczyć się efektu z pewnego tutoriala na videocopilot.net jednak kiedy dodałem do sceny emiter, ten nie emitował żadnych cząsteczek. Sprawdziłem oczywiście wszystkie parametry, a według nich powinien emitowac od 0 do 30 klatki 200 czasteczek. Dlaczego tego nie robi? Co muszę ustawić, naprawić?
