Osoby, które po 1 sierpnia 2011 zakupiły licencję na wycofany obecnie ze sprzedaży samodzielny plugin Renderman for Maya, przysługuje darmowy upgrade do RenderMan Studio 4.0, w skład którego wchodzą: plugin Renderman for Maya Pro, narzędzie do tworzenia shaderów Slim oraz narzędzie do przeglądania i obróbki renderów it.
