Platige Image S.A - Motion Capture TD

Platige is a vehicle for creative endeavors specializing in designing CG imagery, 3D animation, and digital special effects. At Platige, we combine film and advertising work with a strong passion for art, education, and entertainment. We are currently looking for Artist to join our film and game cinematic team at our studio in Warsaw, Poland.

You will be responsible for cleaning up and retargetting motion capture data from our Vicon capture system. Assistting in creating tools and scripts to improve motion capture workflow. Supportting props building, performers brifing and planning. Working with animators, directors, actors and other TD's to play a great role in cinematic team.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- minimum 3 years experience working in a motion capture studio or equivalent environment,

- minimum 5 years working experience in a previz, game development or feature animation in any character animation related role,

- extensive knowledge of Motion Builder is a must,

- working knowladge of Vicon Blade,

- a good general TD background is desirable.

DESIRED SKILLS

- a working knowledge of Maya,

- game development experience related to real-time or pre-rendered cinematics,

- facial capture experience,

- experience with C++ and/or Python and plugin development for Maya and Motionbuilder,

- a working knowledge in rigging, Mel or Python scripting ability.
