[Blender] Blending Life Timelapse - Andy Goralczyk

Andy Goralczyk has posted an interesting new video on his blog. The video is a timelapse of his progress entering into the Blending life contest currently being held over on Blenderartists.org, something worth checking out.

 

Andy Goralczyk was the art director of both Elephants Dream and Big Buck Bunny, who also recently produced the Creature Factory DVD. This timelapse looks like the first in a series of videos detailing the stages of work Andy goes through to model his entry into the Blending life contest. The insight into his techniques are interesting to watch and educational (although somewhat scary to see what your up against if your also entering the contest).

During the first timelapse video Andy begins the realistic model of a male mans head. He works on the eyes, nose, ears and mouth finishing with a neatly modeled face. You can view the video and writeup on Andys blog, or directly on Vimeo by clicking the image below.
