  1. People Can Fly is looking for an Environment Artist. This person will be responsible for constructing aesthetically groundbreaking environments that match engrossing and rich gameplay experiences. Qualifications Experience in all aspects of the environment creation workflow (asset modeling and texturing, architectural and environment design, world layout, set dressing, lighting, optimization, and everything in between.) Experience creating high quality creative/visual aesthetics as well as technical knowledge Experience with industry-standard software packages for 3D modeling, highpoly sculpting, and texture painting (Maya, Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, or their equivalents) Ability to think outside the box to come up with more efficient techniques High work ethic and self motivated Passion for Games Preference to applicants with Experience working with Unreal Engine is a plus Shader programming experience is a plus Shipped-title experience Language English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus) The offer shall be sent to [email protected].   2. ​People Can Fly is looking for a Level Designer. This person will be responsible for blocking out and building levels, and be ready to heavily iterate on them (playtest and provide/implement feedback). You will cooperate with the visual/meshing department to make sure the levels are up to the highest visual quality while retaining the gameplay and fun as well as with the design and code teams on making maps as fun as they can be, and integrating any and all new features into the levels built. You will have a full level ownership – from the paper design, through the whitebox phase, scripting, iteration, debugging, optimization – until it ships. Qualifications Experience in level design – both practice and theory (chokepoints, routes, lines of sight, engagement distances) 3+ Years of professional level design experience At least one successful shipped game on PC or console Ability to work well within a team, good communication skills Self-motivation and ability to prioritize and deliver best quality work on deadlines Ability to process, understand and implement feedback High work ethic and self motivated Passion for Games Preference to applicants with UE4 knowledge Passion for first person/third person shooters Language English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus) The offer shall be sent to [email protected]. This person will be responsible for managing the team in collaboration with other leads, facilitating the internal development processes, working with internal groups to develop the game and communicate with the publisher and external vendors.   4. People Can Fly is searching for an experienced Character Artist to help drive the quality and style of our in-game characters. In this role you’ll create top-quality heroes and monsters for use in gameplay, cinematics, and even our marketing material. RESPONSIBILITIES We recognize that every Character Artist has his/her own pipelines and workflows based on his/her own experience and skillset. The following examples are typical of a Character Artist at People Can Fly. Create characters, enemies, and weapons based on concept art or reference photos. Create highpoly geo in Maya/Max/Modo Create game res LP models Sculpt detail and modelling in ZBrush Creating textures, using photo source, or painting by-hand Tune (or create) surface shaders for in-game characters Work with Animators to ensure the character can be rigged and animated properly Work with Lead Artists and Concept Artists to set the visual style and quality bar Develop new techniques that push the quality and performances we can achieve QUALIFICATIONS Ability to create believable characters that are full of life and personality. Ability to create highpoly and lowpoly models as well as textures. The ability to adapt to, and innovate, new styles and techniques Strong organic modeling skills (human faces, clothing, believable creatures.) Strong hard-surface modeling skills (armor, weapons) Shipped game title experience Very good knowledge of major 3D software packages (Maya, Max, or Modo, and ZBrush.)   5. People Can Fly is looking for a senior level Animator skilled at creating both realistic and stylized motion for in-game characters (humanoid, creature, or machine.) This is a full time position in Warsaw. RESPONSIBILITIES We recognize that every Animator has his/her own unique skillset and abilities. The following examples are typical of an Animator at People Can Fly. Create high quality content utilizing both hand key animation and motion capture data Develop animations that support gameplay and visuals Implement and iterate on animation assets in game Collaborate with team to create dynamic, player centric experience Troubleshoot and solve animation issues with all departments Organize and prioritize animation tasks QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as an animator in film, TV, or games Shipped AAA game title experience Strong understanding of the principles of animation and character anatomy Facial animation and lip-syncing Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Able to take direction and implement feedback Fluent in English A passion for games PLUSES Artistic skills: story boarding, figure study, gesture drawing, 2D animation, illustration and painting Technical skills: rigging, scripting, proficient in Maya Familiarity with Unreal or similar game engine.
