Just hour ago i modeled my car,finished work and saved my scene.I closed maya(worked else) now reopened it and when i try to open my scene it says

 

UNRECOGNIZED TYPE...

 

Can my scene be saved?Guys help please

There could happened something much worse. I'm not totally sure but seems like some error occured while saving the scene and now Maya comes back to You with this message. Try to import the scene as advised by mintrill above.

You could also try to open the scene in other 3D application (XSI for example).

I tried to import but it is same ... I did not lose anything because i save a lot...Just wanted to know if i can stop this...
