zaznaczyć edge jak na rysunku z manuala 3dsmaxa w trybie zaznaczania edge, wcisnąć w -> subdivide, na panelu po prawej wpisać ilość cutów i quad corner type wybrać straight cut. (jak nie widzisz panelu, to wciśnij F6)

Nie ma pincza i slide'a jak w maxie, bo są inne opcje, więc potem by te powstałe edge trzeba było kliknąć z shift altem i dwa razy wcisnąć g, żeby weszy w tryb edge slide.
