Pipeline TD

Role:

Platige Image Cinematics Team is seeking Pipeline TD’s who are talented with Maya and/or Nuke scripted tool development, customization and support for 3d artists. You will be involved in creation and integration of tools with existing in-house software, Shotgun and code base. Customization of existing software to suit the needs of the studio in Maya/Nuke/Houdini environment. Collaborate with Supervisors, Leads, Pipeline Developers and other TD’s to map out and optimize workflows. We are currently seeking pipeline technical directors for support upcoming game cinematics projects at our Warsaw, Poland studio.

Required:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development, 3d pipeline support, rigging, RnD or any other 3D technical role in game development, commercials, VFX or equal

- Experienced in PyMel, Python

- Extended scripting knowledge in Maya

- Must be well-rounded at the whole 3D pipeline from animation to compositing (game development experience will be also considered)

- Linux power user

- Experience in working with databases (MySQL, PostreSQL, Sqlite)

- Strong programming and workflow architecture skills

- Good oral and written English language communication skills

- Self-motivation and a great team-player

Plus:

- Previous experience as Pipeline TD in any hi-end 3D environment

- Previous experience as Maya/Nuke/Motion Builder/Houdini technical director in any role

- Experience with C++ and/or Python in plug-in development

- Experience in the use of version control systems (Git)

- Experience in standard web interfaces (REST)

- Experience in building Qt interfaces

- Proven production experience working with Shotgun API or similar software
