Lighting Artist

Role:

Platige Image Cinematics Team is seeking Lighting Artists who are experienced working with Arnold and talented with shot lighting, look development and rendering. Successful applicants will have a well developed artistic eye, a good working knowledge of color, design and film lighting as well as a solid technical knowledge. Some experience in hair grooming and shader setup would be an advantage. You will be involved in creation of AAA game cinematics and other hi-end 3D projects at our Warsaw, Poland studio.

Responsibilities:

- guided by color script, light and render shots for AAA pre-rendered game cinematics using Maya and Arnold

- execute the corrections requested by the Supervisor and Art Director by showing artistic eye

- pre-compose shots using Nuke

Required:

- A minimum of 3 years’ production proven experience focused on lighting, shading or compositing

- Working knowledge the following software: Maya, Arnold, Nuke

- Must be well-rounded at the whole 3D pipeline from animation to compositing

- Ability to adapt to a high pressure, fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Self-motivation and a great team-player

Plus:

- Training in traditional arts (painting, drawing, photography, etc.)

- Some working experience and knowledge of shader writing

- Production knowledge of other render engines including one of: Vray, Mantra and/or PRMan

- Experience in Houdini
