Czy jest sposób takiego zapisu sceny w nowszych 3d max'ach tak aby bez problemu otworzył to 3d max 5 który nie działa na 64 bitowym systemie windows 7.

możesz spróbować przez FBX ale nie gwarantuję że zadziała, generalnie raczej export w drugą stronę jest mizerny.
